Steve joins the Black School of Business in his second year as Executive in Residence, where he works closely with the Management Information Systems program.

The Black School of Business’ mission is to empower students to learn by doing, adapting, and reinventing business by providing them with high-quality undergraduate- and graduate-level educational experiences with an applied orientation. The Executive in Residence program furthers this mission by inviting executives at the cutting edge of business to share their experience and expertise with students and faculty.

Participation Expectations

Participation in the MIS Mentorship Program requires commitment and the ability to maintain communication with your assigned mentor. You and your mentor will decide on meeting times that are available in both your schedules’ as well as the proper way to communicate. You are expected to keep your scheduled meeting times.

You can learn about the MIS field, your mentor’s career path, have your mentor look a resume, prepare for an interview, and more. This is mainly independent-driven, so it is imperative you are able to commit to this rewarding program.
